A Message From Bariatric Surgeon and Founder

I have always been concerned about the nutritional care of my patients after bariatric surgery. With the results of a groundbreaking study complete, we have verified what we already believed to be true -- Bari Life® works better! Bari Life® is trusted by surgeons, dietitians and patients based on their own experience, and now there is evidence to support that belief.

The results of our study have been published in a leading professional peer reviewed journal, providing clinical proof. The statistical data of 309 post-surgical patients verified the benefits of Bari Life® supplements as reported in Obesity Surgery, the official journal of the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders..

Bari Life® is formulated to be effective and more convenient to take, making it twice as likely patients will stay on track. Patients taking Bari Life® supplements are significantly less likely to develop deficiencies and more likely to succeed in their new life after surgery.

I am proud of the success of our patients and the nutritional support offered through Bari Life® products.

Sincerely, Doctor Boyce Accolades

Meet Dr. Boyce
Doctor Stephen BoyceMore than 25 years ago, Dr. Stephen Boyce was a surgical resident studying with one of the pioneers of bariatric surgery. As a student in the early days of bariatrics, he followed the lives of his first patients through their transformations. The changes he saw in their lives would become part of his vision and calling. He wanted to provide an easier solution that would help protect and promote the newfound lives of bariatric patients.

Dr. Stephen Boyce obtained his Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science from Texas A&M University, College Station, before beginning medical school in Dallas, Texas at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School where he received his medical degree. Surgical Residency was performed at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas where he completed his general surgery training and was introduced to weight loss surgery under the tutelage of Dr. Otto Wilbanks, a pioneering father of weight loss surgical procedures.

With over 25 years of experience performing bariatric surgeries, Dr. Boyce has completed over 4,000 weight loss surgical procedures, has special training in advanced laparoscopic surgery and has also completed a Masters Certification in Bariatric Surgery. He started his own practice the New Life Center for Bariatric Surgery in Knoxville, Tennessee in 2002, which shortly after became one of the Nation's first Centers of Excellence (7th in the Nation) in 2005. He is an active educator for Ethicon Endo-Surgery and he was the first physician to be awarded by the Obesity Action Coalition (OAC), "Outstanding Membership Recruitment by a Physician Award."
