Bari Life Chocolate Protein Pudding/Shakes should be a staple in every pantry! They are so quick and easy to make. For the pudding consistency, which we will be making today, you only add 4 ounces of water (or milk) for each packet.

For a shake consistency, you add 8 ounces of water (or milk). The chocolate mix can be used in countless recipes. Not only is this product Gluten Free, but it’s Soy-Free too! One packet has only 80 calories and 15 grams of protein per serving!

You don’t need to do anything to the mold. Go ahead and add your favorite sprinkles to the molds! Pour the 4 packets of Bari Life Chocolate Protein Pudding/Shake into a bowl. Add 16 ounces of cold water. Beat with a whisk until the powder has dissolved and the mixture is smooth.

Pour the pudding into the molds, cover with plastic wrap and freeze until firm. It’s easiest just to leave them in for a few hours… they can stay in the freezer until you’re ready to enjoy! When they’re ready just pop them out. They need to be stored in the freezer.

Note: Don’t use crystalized sprinkles for this recipe. We learned that crystal sprinkles tend to dissolve and keep the mixture from freezing properly. Standard long sprinkles and shapes work best!

  1. This is for Dr. Boyce: I would to know if a patient of yours (me) could have the duodenal switch Surgery when a sleeve gastricectomy didn’t work for me. I have additional health issues now.

    Thanks and please advise.

    1. You can certainly have a revision from sleeve to DS. It’s easier to go from sleeve –> DS than it is to go RNY –> DS since the sleeve is one step in the DS procedure. You’ll definitely want to talk with your surgeon. If that’s Dr. Boyce you’re in great hands! Start out with a consultation and figure out if that’s the best path for you. Don’t be quick to jump into surgery if you can avoid it, but it can be a great option!

So start with some conversations and you’ll be guided to the right decision for you 🙂
